Question by Kaitlyn: Infection on my stretched earlobe? Help!?
So, I was at a 10g for about 3 weeks using acrylic pinchers. I understood the dangers of acrylic jewelry, but I clean everything properly. I use H20 spray and vitamin E oil daily. My right ear is fine with stretching with no problems, as for my left ear, I pushed the pincher in and it was quite sore for a few days. I couldn’t move the jewelry easily but i continuted to clean the area.
Just a few days ago, it started to bleed a little with puss coming out. I left it there for 2 days and continued my cleaning routine. I was worried about the dangers of a blowout so I took it out. It is now “teared” open and really red. (raw).
-Will it close overnight? (I just did it, i need answers NOW)
-When should i put a 12-10g pincher back in?
-Is there anything i can do to help the healing process go faster?
THANK YOU!!!

Since everybody is different, no one can tell you if your will shrink completely or at all.
You should put metal 10g jewelry in ASAP. Stop using acrylic & the jewelry won’t stick to your ear. Also, cleaning acrylic doesn’t make it sterile, or into a better material. It still sucks for fresh stretches & piercings. If it’s an issue of cost, then you should reconsider stretching all together, because it is not a cheap thing to do right.
Other than not using acrylic to stretch with? Wait more than 3 weeks before stretching larger, and instead of the spray, start doing actual salt soaks. They do a better job at cleaning your piercing than spraying something on them will.
What do you think? Answer below!
Yes it will close. That H2O spray and vitamin E oil? That stuff is useless. People will try to get you to buy anything. The oil is probably doing you more harm then good. If you want it to heal faster try taking a multi vitamin for a while. The better your body is the faster youll heal. Let it heal up and repierce it.
